Johann Jörg Rauch, son of Johann Nickel and Christina Catharina (Mühlberger) Rauch, was baptized in Odernheim am Glan 1 May 16951 and was still living 14 June 1750 when he is recorded in his son's confirmation.2 He married second in Odernheim am Glan 25 April 1724, Maria Margretha Schlarp.3

He arrived in Philadelphia aboard the Robert and Alice 3 December 1740.4,5
